My projects, et cetera.

Hi, I'm Elliot Glaysher, a software engineer who lives in the San Francisco South Bay area. I work for Google on Chromium, the open source project behind Google Chrome. I'm 26 years old, and received my B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Michigan in 2005.

This site is my blog and where I post release announcements and thoughts about projects I'm working on and technology I'm working with. Like the majority of individuals with blogs, I do not speak for my employer; I'm just a programmer.

More importantly, this site is home to my projects and my past work:

• RLVM is an open source reimplementation of the proprietary RealLive game engine, and can currently play three commercial games to completion.
• VitaminSEE was an image viewer that I developed for the Mac when I was in college. Though I abandoned it when I moved to Linux, it still seems to be popular.
• LifeCounter is a little utility for the Android platform for people who play way too much Magic: The Gathering.
• At a previous company, I did natural language processing research. While I was there, I published one paper on partial parsing decisions.
